223 M.V ???

Using the sierra 69 gr. mk bullet.....What are you
running as far as muzzle velocity versus your accuracy.
I have been running slow M.V's in mine for 300 yard f class..
Not having done ocw test yet..Curious as to maybe what
some of you are running with this 69 gr bulllet in a 9 twist..
My accuracy is darn good without any wind to move the bullet.
Average is approx. 10 shots in an inch..But figure one day the
bulllet witch is gonna get..

25 inch Bartlein 1/8 not 1/9. Lapua brass, fed match primers Varget 24.6 2970 fps, sub half moa.

at what distance are you shooting? sounds good...but i hate lapua brass,,tried it and had to many
split cases on the first fireing..no idea why..i use lack city almost 100 percent of the time..

My inexpensive Howa 1500 "fun gun" 1:9 twist barrel shoots 69gr Sierra MK Moly coated bullets rather slowly. Lapua brass, 22.19gr IMR 8208 XBR, Federal Gold Medal Match primers.

This is my most accurate recipe.

It nearly always shoots sub 1/2 MOA five shot groups at 100yards and about 20 percent of those groups are below .300 MOA. Of those, the average MV is 2648 fps.
