.223 Lapua Match Brass

All,

I have been using Lapua brass exclusively for the last 6 years. I found that Lapua's quality is unmatched and since I shoot hotter loads than normal I rely on Lapua's consistent construction to allow me to reach the velocity I want. When Lapua changed the 5.56X45 brass to .223 Rem Match I came across an anomaly. The first batch of brass I used did not allow me to shoot my hot loads. I relayed my results to Lapua engineers.

I am happy to report that the last batch of .223 Rem Match I received is consistent with what I have come to expect from Lapua. In fact, I used this brass in the California State High Power Championship placing second overall using a service rifle. I trust Lapua to give me the results I want and will continue to use their exceptional brass.

Well,

I really don't have a quick fix, but if shoot 97% or higher in High-power matches that is what the NRA uses for a classification system.

My older Lapua is marked "5.56x45 .223 Rem" and is part No. 4PH5009. The new is marked ".223 Rem. Match Lapua" and is part No. 4PH5003. The best brass I've ever worked with.

I only have some of the old stuff. It is considerably heavier at 101 - 103 grains a piece.
