i wash off my chips in my parts washer after i take a cut. then blow the reamer dry with the air hose. my air hose is pretty strong and i blew the darn thing right out of my hand wasnt paying attention for the most part, the reamer was still in my pusher set up and the wight of the holder was probably the reason the flute broke off? PTG has this reamer in stock but I just know if I order the dam thing it will take 2 or 3 weeks to get here if it gets here at all I don't have much of a call for this chamber so I don't know if I'll replace it or not.

Do not believe PTG when they tell you something is in stock, Had way too many problems with multiple phone calls over months trying to get my money back on things that were supposedly in stock.

Swore off of them after this last ordeal. They did finally refund my money, But it was a huge hassle.

I had a reamer that I broke a partial section out of one flute. Never had a problem. Might be wise to the stone each edge/ corner of the missing section.

I'll add that if you have a 300WM, in my case, or any magnum reamer sharpened, you have a groove in front of the belt that moves forward when everything is set back. Setting up the same condition as a chipped flute.
