.223 Howa 1500 MDT Oryx Action Screws

Anyone experiment with the torque settings on their .223 Howa 1500 MDT Oryx action screws? I will need to get to the range to experiment on what setting works best for this gun but looking for an established starting point to work from. Weather has not been the best to test, so here I sit.

MDT recommends 60 inch lbs. The aluminum frame can handle more torque than most stocks.
I have 4 Oryx chassis and they are all solid and more accurate than the stocks they replaced.
I also have one MDT LSS chassis with the same action screw torque and its rifle shoots terrific.

Never bothered to experiment because the accuracy with all 4 Oryx and the one LSS chassis improved each rifle's accuracy with the 60 in.-lbs. torque.

One other note on MDT Oryx and LSS Chassis.
The barrels on all 5 rifles in an MDT aluminum chassis don't touch anything in any of the chassis except the recoil lug and the action itself.
On the Savages I have mounted in an Oryx or LSS, even the barrel nuts aren't touching the chassis.

With a lot of stocks, the stock flex or variations in the stock structure might cause different torque settings to impact how the rifle is seated and effect accuracy. It was certainly an issue with my Savage stocks and torque adjustments had to be tuned slightly for almost every stock. The HS precision stocks I have were the least effected.
With the Oryx and LSS Chassis I don't think there is much to worry about related to torque. The bolts fastening the rifle to the chassis and the barrel recoil lug are the only things that seem to be factors.
