223 help

I bought a DPMS panther bull 20. ive bought 69matchkings, 70senars, and 70 grain berger vdls does anyone have a good load for these bullets thats AR safe

Have you looked at the 223 cartridge guide on the 6mmbr webpage? A lot of readers here already posted their loads. You'll also find some recommendations for dropping the powder charge of bolt gun loads for your AR. I'll be starting a similar project soon, and that's where I'll head for data. Good luck! -bnw

between 23.5 -24.5 gr vv n-140/rem. 7-1/2 primer/win or Lc brass/ with bullet seated to fit magazine shoots really well in my ar 1-7 twist._____treeman

I shoot a RRA 223 and load a Berger 55 gr moly HP over 25.5 gr H335 for 3200 fps. Shoots 1/2" in my gun and droped 2 coyotes at 200yds graveyard dead!

Remember Guns don't kill varmints....I do!

My DPMS Panther Bull likes 52 gr. Bergers with 27.3 gr H335, if you are interested in trying the lighter bullets,I have a 1:9 twist).
