223 flash hole size

Quick question on the flash hole size for FC 223 brass, Is the flash hole the same size as on large rifle brass? Just starting to get into loading small rifle cases and was wondering if my standard K&M flash hole deburr tool is the same as the 223 brass or I need one for small rifle? Thank You, RW

All 223 cases that I have seen have had flash holes that are the same size as large rifle brass. I am not aware of any manufacturer making that brass with small flash holes. In todays world, that doesn't mean they don't exist. somebody is always experimenting.
You should be ok with your standard flash hole deburing tool

A lapua rep a few days ago was actually talking about flash hole sizes and they said they actually tried it at one point and everyone got pissed because their 223 stuff wouldnt work with it so they scrapped the idea.
