223 DIES

Im new to reloading and i bought rcbs 223 small base dies , when i size and un prime the casings Im getting a little dent in the side ofr the caseing , is the the fault of the the dies or am I doing something wrong ?

Definately too much lube. You only need a very small amount on the case body ONLY, not on the shoulder. You should also lube the inside of your case necks to reduce drag from the expander ball. Read the intro to reloading in any good reloading manual, this will help you greatly. The ABC's of Reloading is also a very usefull book to buy and read.
There is a lot of knowledge on this site, so read, learn, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

I keep a rag on my knee when sizing cases, and wipe the neck and shoulder off before sizing. Its hard to keep lube off the neck, and wiping it off works for me. Lightman
