I am Wondering if you’d bother with the higher node if a slight bolt click and just starting to flatten primers a little was happening but between two different ladders they provided 3/8 and 5/8 vertical at 300 yards (furthest visibility today).
The lower node was still between 1/3 and 1/2 moa basically (1 7/16” and 1 1/4” vertical). I know the higher node is going kill the brass faster which in this case doesn’t terribly bother me as I have tons and tons of 223 that I’m cycling through. Normally I concern myself with this and would choose the lower node but hard to walk away from .1-.2’s with a shitty rest in low visibility and 0 load work up yet lol.
Low node is 2983 fps avg and upper node is 3130fps with 75gr eld-m’s. Will obviously retest in warmer weather to see if pressure increases more then a slight bolt click.
