.223 Accuracy Load too hot?

But it looks way too hot when that data is input into Quick Load.

Presumably using QuickLOAD's default settings, one of which has case 'overflow water capacity' as 28.8gn for 223 Rem. In a 'tight minimum SAAMI' chamber, my custom rifle sees nearly 31gn water for fireformed LC brass which reduces the calculated PMax value considerably. Depending on your chamber freebore length, there will be other factors at play too which may need fine-tuning.

Viht's own data:

https://www.vihtavuori.com/reloading-data-tool-rifle-handgun-cowboy-action-shooting/#/

has the max load for N140 and 77s as just over 24.0gn to 25.5gn depending upon bullet make/model in lower capacity (ca. 30.5gn water) Lapua brass. (Frankly I don't see how the company stuffed most of its top charges into this case with a 2.260"-COAL as they'll be massively compressed, but that's another matter!) As you're loading for an AR-15, I'm assuming bullets are seated for magazine operation?

My accuracy load for a 20 inch AR with a Wylde chamber is 24.6 N140 with 77 SMK @ 2.26 in LC brass with CCI 450’s. Seems like it’s about 2750 but I can’t remember.

I have a bolt gun in .223 Rem that I shoot in F-TR. I run 25gr of CFE223 with the Berger 85.5. I get an average MV of around 2870. No pressure problems. In F-Class, i consistently shoot in the low 590s at 600 and 800yds. Best match was a 593 out of 600 at 800yds.
