I saw this in warren pages book .what did they shoot out as far as loads go.is it faster or more accurate then the 222 or 222 magnum.

It was a tad faster than the 222 and was intended, I believe, to extend the accuracy of the 222 to 200 yards. After the 6mms took over BR, it fell out of any favor it ever had.

222 Rem Mag. There are a number of variations on the same theme. I think all start with the 222 Rem Mag. With most the shoulder is blown forward some, but that varies as does the shoulder angle. 222.5, 222.7, 223 x 35, etc. Along with the 222, they all shoot well, just not good enough to consistently beat a PPC at 200. Not enough horsepower IME.
