221 Fireball brass

Got a BUNCH of new Remington .221 Fireball brass. Never had any issues shooting it.
Some folks think it's CRAP because the primer pockets go all to hell in nothing flat. Bottom line is the fact that they're loading it to 5000 FPS and wondering why it won't last?? (well duh!!)
Nothing but mid range loads for me where I shoot a 5 shot group that can be covered with a dime and my brass lasts forever. And when it gets tired, it's made into 20 VT.

I read it as he was giving an option and I see no degrading of Nosler in his post.

Provided the primer pocket still holds primers. IME "tired" brass ( that never had an anneal regimen) should be just "retired".

I have 400 pieces of Lapua 221 fireball brass, keep telling myself I’m gonna do a vartarg and jeep putting it off. Gotta change that, maybe this year.

Tired brass to me means it is no longer usable, and ready to scrap.
Making worn out 20vt brass out of worn out .221 brass does not make sense to me.

I guess I just do not understand tired.

To me the OP and B23 are just trying to help people source some components during these tough times.Imagine if you will a time when we need to start making
brass from military.223/5.56 found on the bloody battlefield of Chicago or name your closest city.

You can try unis primers as they are very tight in new brass and may fit tired pockets fine
