220 Beggs load data

My nephew has come into a 220 beggs. It came with the reamer, headspace guage, lapua fired shells,, loading dies and seater. The reamer says .250 neck. I can't find any load data anywhere. Emailed Mr. Beggs and he said Arnold Jewel was the go to guy and no response from Arnold.

Anyone shooting one or shot one and give me a starting point please.
I have:
4198
Benchmark
748
N133
Thanks,
Clinton

I shot the Beggs quite a bit some years ago and have recently started back with another barrel-----have only shot 52 gr bullets.

I think, in general, you should consider any available powder that would
be expected to do well in the 223 or slightly larger capacity cases.

My best results were with Benchmark. Other "reasonable" powders
also did well----I didn't try N133 and there was no LT32 then.

Some shooters use LT32 for UBR competition and do well.

I don't see anything on your list that looks bad for the Beggs.

You guys enjoy.

26.0gr of lt32 and a 52-53gr bullet is great but is pretty warm, so work up to that charge range. That was my go to load for a 220 Beggs, for a while. I tied a UBR record with it at a night shoot several years back, now..and won a lot of matches with that load.
