22" to 18" .223 velocity loss?

Considering cutting my .223 down to accommodate my suppressor length. Any idea on velocity loss with 62 to 75 grain bullets? Thanks guys.

Paul

Should be very close to 100 fps. If the 22” is unsuppressed, you’ll pick some of that lost velocity back up with the suppressor on the 18”.
Thanks Doug, I think I can live with that. The convenience of having a much handier compact rifle will be worth the trade off. Especially when the squirrels are charging!!

I cut quite a few down to 16inch for fox shooters and gamekeepers who tend to shoot alot from a vehicle and need a suppressed short rifle.
