.22 Short needed

I need some .22 short ammo for a little shooting gallery. Getting a friends young grandchildren started so I want quiet and soft hitting. I'm in Bozeman Mt. Hope someone in the group can help. Thanks, James

Do need actual 22 shorts, or would long quiets or CB do?

Both are in the 7-750 fps range, difference is bullet weight.

You can buy directly from CCI they should have the Quiets in stock.

I may be interested in those Butch , for my 1980 olympic high standard . That is if the op is not interested in high end ammo
Had one of those. More fun to shoot than should be legal! Great gun for 'basement' shooting range. Traded mine for something I just 'had' to have. Wish I had it back.

As recently as yesterday I bought another 500 rnds of CCI Quiets on GB. Shipping cost is murder. Final total delivered was $73.
You had better stock up as .22 shorts are becoming more and more scarce and the price is heading to the moon.

I got an email yesterday from someone selling 2000 round case's, but I deleted the email, so it's around. I gave away 1000 rounds 3-4 years ago. Aguila has .22 ammo with just the primer used for powder charge. Go to Ammo Seek and you will find plenty. I just looked there and their are many selling it.

not yet . Been busy with getting my E jag out of the back shop . Time to pass it on to my cousin . Got it running after its 28 year sleep .
Gonns miss the old jag .
You were lucky to get rid of the jag a were. After working on a few over the years has given me a very sour taste for the UK vehicles!

I use to make my living working on them till I cracked a vertebrae and popped a few discs , that what lead me back to smithing . Made a heck of alot more with Jaguars . Especially in Boca Raton Florida.

CCI makes .22 short in two different muzzle velocities 710 fps and 1105 fps. I believe the 710 fps would do the trick for you I keep both for my 1890 Winchester chambered in .22 Short. Quiet and fun. Cheapest at gun shows where you don't have to pay for shipping.
Just found some CCI 710 fps mv on GB delivered to my door at a hair over $9 per 100.
