22 PPC Sierra 53gr.

Recently acquired my first 22 ppc, and would like to know if any of you have experience with the Sierra 1400 53gr. Thanks Fellas

Hi Mark,

I used some (but only had a few) when first developing loads for my 22PPC built to Pindell original specs (no turn).

I found that it shot much like the Berger 52 and better than the 50 grain Vamx, NBT. I have not tested custom bullets in it. LT32 and 322 are nice powders. Not much else to offer because I settled on the Berger 52 target as my most easily obtained bullet.

That 53gr is a very good bullet for being production made.

I agree with littlebuddybr, I’ve had surprisingly good accuracy with these at 100yards.
