I bet that got your attention. In western WA we have a problem with SLUGS. This time of year the young have hatched, or whatever, and they are mostly about 2“-3” long. Later they will get to be 5”-6” long. They don’t have any natural predators in the area, ducks and geese will eat them, so I either have to pick them up or poison them. Non of those options are very appealing. I deal with them differently. A good 22 pistol, suppressor and red dot. I use a Taurus tx-22 comp. With sparrow suppressor and true glow 2 min. Red dot. I just came in from one of my slug safaris. Got over 100 of these critters. this is my kind of yard work. They explode when hit and once they get bigger they flip head over heals like a rock chuck hit with a high velocity 6mm bullet. So come 5 or 6 pm I’m outside doing yard work.
