Ladies & gents, I've been shooting and home-loading .22 Hornets for several years now...always jacketed bullets and pushing them at around the 2800fps mark to shoot squirrels, rabbits and foxes.
I have the chance to shoot paper indoors at a local range, but the rules of the range are lead bulleted, "gallery loads" only. It's only a 25 & 50 yard range and the only powder that I use is lil Gun...and I have plenty of it, so don't want to buy anything else / other powders.
I have a box of 500, 40-grain lead bullets and was hoping that someone may be able to suggest a suitably soft load / data to use for the indoor range.
Many thanks,
Lee.
