22 Dasher

Anybody on here shooting a 22 Dasher with the 90 Vld's i am wondering how much freebore is needed.

There are a few...I've actually just started compiling stuff to build one but I don't know anything about the freebore needed. I called my gunsmith and told him what I wanted and he'll order the reamer for something he can reuse (at least that is normally how that happens). He has one guy that is shooting 80's in one and says it's a hammer but for me to do it I have to shoot 90's or I'm just sticking to 6 dasher & hybrids.

I have one and its perfect for the 90's. Call mike bryant and see what freebore he uses cause its perfect

Dusty are you shooting a 7 or 8 twist with the 90's

I have shot 80 grn VLD's out of my 22 dasher with a .125" freebore. Shoots very well but it didn't give me much room to chase the lands. I have since ordered a new reamer with .100" freebore because I only plan on shooting the 80's. For the 90's I would say anything from .125" to .135".
