With buching die, I do a two step process, first with a .253, then a .250. use plenty of lube.
Can do it in one step. But you run a risk of collapsed cases, Which if that happens even the slit est, use more lube or just do a two step size.
Iv done it with Lapua and Alpha. Same thing really

Also, 22-250 cases are easily f-formed to 22 Creedmoor. This is a pretty good option, depending on how many cases you need.

Try to find 22-250 brass. It almost does not exist.

My opinion? 22xc is the better option than the Creedmoor in terms of brass. Tubb will ALWAYS have good brass at a cheap price.

Glad I didn't know that before buying 300 pcs. of Lapua and 200 pcs. of Winchester just last week.....

Oh, you can find it. Are they making either? No.

There is no need for the eye roll. Just trying to help others THAT CALL ME EVERY DAY not able to find components.

Nothing personal meant with the emoji, sir. :)

I just sent some 'unavailable' brass to a shooter in need. He told me he'd: "Checked everywhere and it wasn't currently being made". It was on the shelf at one of my local gun shops.

When everyone says the sky is falling, I just find it better to look up than down. ;)

Well... He was right. It's currently not being made. My guess is it may never be made again. Certainly not for a very long time. Whether someone just happens to be sitting on some old stock really makes no difference.

People call me all the time asking about what they should shoot, and right now I am selling based on availability of components. I suggest everyone else do the same thing. Certainly, if guiding a new shooter, we would want them to look at something that they can afford to buy at a reasonable price, and that is readily available.

Honestly, people really need to understand that this isn't 10 years ago.

Things have radically changed. And personally, and this is my personal opinion, they are never going back unless there is some radical change to our entire government and culture. And I don't see that happening. Unless God intervenes and sets it right. Unfortunately, I think God is allowing everything to happen exactly as he would want it in his perfect way.

Had my 22 Creedmoor out for the first time 3 days ago:

Brass is fire formed Lapua 22-250. Here's a before and after pic of the brass, the 'unavailable' Lapua cases and a couple bags of Winchester 22-250...all purchased in the last three weeks from two reputable on line sources.

For those looking for 22-250 cases, the Sig Sauer cases are excellent quality U.S.A. mfgd. cases.

Very nice looking stock. However, I'm partial to red. I wonder how it would look with red stripes? Then again, I'm not allowed to handle something that nice!

Very cool.

Just to be clear, Sig 22-250 is in stock nowhere that I could find. Has not been in quite a while.

I’m using Alpha LRP because it’s consistently available. Being a hunting rifle I didn’t want to take any chances with SRP’s in the cold and a fairly large case. I’m saving my 22-250 brass for my 22-250 :)

Peterson makes 22 Creedmoor brass as well. Might be another one to try.

I’m very impressed with their 6x47 Lapua brass. Works fantastic.

I use Starline 6mm CM srp brass with my 22 CM. Just a single pass through my Whidden sizing die, and ready to load.
I never had any good results using Alpha or Peterson brass in my 6.5 CM rifles. I did resize the 100 pcs of Peterson for my 25 CM, but haven't chronographed the velocities yet.
