22 cal. 62 gr. Gold Dot, length?

From Midway USA's website.
"the Speer Gold Dot 62 grain bonded soft point bullet is 0.808" long and 0.427" from base to ogive measured with a Hornady comparator."

Originally I misread your question and grabbed a bag of 62 grain Federal Fusion pulled bullets, but they measure the same OAL give or take a few thousandths.

Random check of 10, base to tip

Thank you to both responders!

I had searched everywhere I could think of, Speer's site, all the retailers I could think of. I didn't look on \Midway though.

I have a very strong suspicion that the Federal Fusion projectiles and the Gold Dots are one and the same. Not confirmed but many things lead me to that conclusion.

Old thread, but does one of them have a boat tail and the other a flat base?
