Does anyone have any Winchester or federal birdshot they would part with. If you do I would be interested in it . Thanks

CCI is the only brand I've seen (lately) with a birdshot loading.

You will no longer find "bird shot". That was considered politically incorrect and it is now know as "rat shot" or "snake shot". I just bought some from SGAmmo for $10/50 rounds but it now shows as out of stock. Leave your email and Sam will let you know when some comes in. Great folks to deal with.

Lucky Gunner has CCI in stock but it's a lot more expensive. Plastic capsule instead of crimped.

I did some "practical" pattern testing of CCI and Winchester birdshot on mice in my friends wooden granary back in the 80's. the crimped, WW shot was far more effective in the Rem single shot we used.

I don't think Win. makes it anymore. Have seen CCI in LR and .22 Mag. Anyone seen any Winchester?

i bought a box of super x last year. of course it may have set on the shelf for a long time.

and there have been several misfires with it.

I have some Federals, pattern very well out of my 580 ! Need to stock up on more myself.

Most of the places near me, Gander Mountain, Dick's Davies etc. seem to always have the CCI shotshells even when they do not have any regular LR.

I bought a box of 50 Winchesters last year. The box looks new, not like it had been setting on the shelf a long time. I probably purchased it at a local Cabela's or Bass Pro.
