22-250 with AA 2460?

Folks,
I just picked up a pound of Accurate Arms 2460 and was wondering if anyone is or has been using it with favorable results in a 14 twist 22-250? I've got a bunch of Nosler 52 grain HPBT Custom Competition blems to shoot.
I will be shooting them in either a Remington VLS or a Ruger No.1V.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

I asked the same question about the use of this powder in a M1A 7.62 or 308win brass a few days ago and got no response, I tried the powder in my 308win bolt gun, I ran 41gns under a 175gn SMK, I used the data listed in the Western Powders EDI 8.0 guide, their test rifle used a 1&12 24'' barrel, my rifle is a 1&10 25'' their load data starts @38gn and shows 2, 485fps their max 42.3gns @2,689fps, my barrel with 41gns produced velocity's @2,670 to 2,680 with the 175gn SMK, I was not expecting this kind of velocity at this charge weight, but my twist is faster than the test barrel, I like to have my velocity's for this rifle @2,550ish, so my next loads will start off @39.5gns, even tho I was out of my speed zone and more recoil for this rifle, it didn't shoot bad groups at all @200m, for a ball powder, I do not remember the ES or SD's, The loads I loaded were just for velocity test only, IMO for me it's worth trying to develop a load for my rifle, I have several other powders I'm trying to use like A2495, AR Comp A2520 and so on, the Hodgdon pet powders are almost impossible to find and are expensive, so I'm like a lot folks looking for available alternatives, I hope this helps.

AA2460 would work behind those 52gr Noslers in your .22-250. But it's far from optimum and I'd be surprised if you get better than middling-to-good accuracy. There are a bunch of mostly-available powders which would work better.

Do be mindful that 100% case fill using AA2460 behind that bullet would put you more than 20K psi over SAAMI max. Be careful.

Good morning gentlemen,
Thank you all for your very informative responses.
I'm really not sure I'm going to try it now.
More information and a call to AA may be in order. If you think of anything else, please shout out.
Thank you once again.

2460 was intended to be used in 223 with heavy bullets as I recall. Ive used it in 223 with 55 gr but wasnt impressed over other powders.

This is the fastest powder in their manual listed for this cartridge

It's my go to powder for 223 69 grainers. Holliger used to have 69 and 80 grain load data on his website for 2460. Accurate says its a slightly slower version of AA2230. If push came to shove, I'd give it a try in a 22-250 with 50-53 grain bullets if I had it available. Personally I think it's just a little on the too fast side if velocity is your goal. Accuracy is probably doable with lighter loads.
