Win 760 works great for me. Berger 40 and 55 gr. Hollow pt. Varmint match bullets. .3 with both bullets. All powders mentioned work well. Just have to see what your rifle likes.I do have a nice Vortex Viper to put on it! and 8 pounds of Win 760

760 is the same as h414 I believe...there's only a few powder companies and they just change label, si I've read...380 and 760 are good powders..I've thought of a new barrel but I hav'nt worn out the factory barrel and it shoots.for longer ranges I have a couple of barrel burners.I do have a nice Vortex Viper to put on it! and 8 pounds of Win 760
Sierra #1375 60-grain Hollow Point Varmint Bullet is an option. I use it in a 22-250 factory Remington Model 7, it shoots very well.I inherited a Winchester post 64 22-250 varmint, I know the twist isn't enough for the heavier bullets of today so it will get rebarreled soon, BUT when I am shopping for bullets what bullet am I looking for? I know it's a newbie question, but is it a .223 or .224 or some other diameter? TY!
