21st century neck turner

Hello,

I am thinking of buying a 21st century neck turner and was wondering if anyone has one and how you like it. Also if it broke would you buy another one

thanks alot

I bought one, like it very much.

I think I'd have to WANT to break it to do any significant damage (a LOT easier to hold onto than some other brands) & that's not likely.

I have only had one for a couple weeks now(turner and lathe) . I have turned 100 cases for my 284 Winchester with it (out of the 250 that need prepping). I really do like the turner and lathe setup. I have used the K & M turner for years, but I do like the 21st turner better with or without the lathe. The adjustments require a lot less trial and error, the cutter is very sharp, and I really like how the cutter is angled to match the shoulder of the case. I doubt you could break it, unless you really tried. I would order it again if needed though. I also like the expander mandrel and die setup better than the K & M.

I've had several other neck turners and sold them all, and never looked back.

I can't imagine how you could break one. It's not treated like a construction tool that gets very hard usage, and gets thrown around.

These are very ergonomic and easy to use, I would buy another if it broke but after using it for 6 months or so I see no reason why it would brake. It cuts very smoothly and the transition from neck to shoulder is very smooth, if there is a draw back to the turner it would be the back lash in the micro adjustment wheel, I really dislike that but over look it for all the other good things about it. John is really a great and honest guy to deal with, if there were any real issues he would take care of it or at least he has with me in the past, don't hesitate just buy it, if you don't like it you won't have any trouble selling it on the classifieds on here, but I am sure you will really like it ;)

let me say thanks to all who answered my question and I think I will get the lathe model. I have a kennamen hand held turner and I dont like it one bit I would sell it if I could. It workes fine but it's just not what I wanted.

thank's alot
