Greetings all,
I have been reloading for decades now, dodging the annealing bug until now
.
I am quite aware of how harder (stiff might be a better word), un-annealed the brass becomes after a few reloads, and I am confident the neck tension on my brass is all over the place. I can actually feel differences in seating force with my BCBS RC, even with all it's mechanical advantage.
I have always wondered how this might be hurting my loads accuracy.
I have been considering this 21st century hydro press for a-while now, from he online reviews it seems to operate quite reliably.
But before I jump into the world of bullet seating with Arbor Presses requiring new sets of inline dies for all my calibers I have only one concern regarding the use of this hydro press.
The one thing that bugs me is my suspicion it operates a hydraulic cylinder (Piston) right above the Inline dies.
Directing this to those who own one, I suspect it seals with some type of o-ring(s) ?
My concern is having oil leaking from this piston right on top of the die, (and not from the Pressure gauge or it's fitting, both of which I'm sure can easily be re-sealed or replaced)
Any such experiences ?
Thanks a mill..
