I NEED ANY INFO ON HAND LOADING FOR THE .219 DONALDSON WASP. PARENT CASE, CASE FORMING PROCEDURE, WORTH THE TROUBLE, ETC.???

MY ONLY EXPERIENCE WITH WILDCATS IS LIMITED,AND NOT ALL THAT GOOD), SO ANY HELP APPRECIATED.

I POSTED THIS ON THE SMALL STUFF FORUM HERE AS WELL..THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE A BETTER SHOT AT GETTING SOME IDEA WHAT I MAY BE GETTING INTO!

It can be formed from 30 30 brass [with no shortage of effort].."Cartridges of the world" has some very breif notes on the case & loading data...I knew an old timer who used one after WW II ...he said it was OK ..the 222 put it out of business..By the time I was old enough to shoot that rifle was long gone..mike in ct
 
I have a Donaldson Wasp and I am very impressed! This cartridge was one of the very early bench rest cartridges developed by Harvey Donaldson. Mine is on a CPA action(Stevens 441/2 Copy wonderfully done by Paul Shuttleworth. With formed 375 brass,
Federaql 210M primer, Berger 52gr match bullet, and 28.3 grains of Varget, 2.9275, I got 3305fps and a 3 shot group measuring .245inches. Have fun!!
