I'm building a 20ppc and am missing a pretty important component, a reamer. I've checked with JSG, PTG and Manson and they all have pretty substantial lead times on getting one in and I had hoped to get this project done soon. My nephew had shoulder surgery recently and isn't going to be able to groundhog hunt with any of his regular rifles for a while and I figured a 20ppc on a 14-15lb gun riding bags would work for him this groundhog season.
I've checked with Elk Ridge reamer rentals and they don't have one, I've seen one at another reamer rental place but it doesn't seem to be a no turn neck at .226, trying to avoid purchasing a 20cal mandrel set, and I have heard some not so good things about the business.
So it brings me to asking here. Does anyone have a no turn 20ppc reamer they would be willing to sell, loan or rent out? It would only be used for the chamber as I have a seater already on order from the Woodchuckden and my smith is an accomplished benchrest rifle builder so it won't be used by an amateur.
