20cal barrel manufacturers

Hart does make an 11 according to there website
You're 100% correct. I have a Hart 11tw on my 20-222 and it shoots extremely well.

We may not agree on everything but I couldn't agree with you more on why they make a 12tw 20cal let alone why anyone, including gun manufactures, would put a 12tw on any 20 cal. With the 12's being marginally fast enough for the 40's why risk it. They all should come with 11's.

My two "go to" barrels for 20 cals are Hart and Krieger.

My 10 twist barrel has been keeping very happy. I make a Tikka nut barrel and I plan on making a Tikka shouldered prefit also.

Pacnor or Preffered Barrals. Have used both and have always had good results with either of them on several builds. In the past I did like Xcaliber, but they may have slipped with new owner.

I am on my second Hart .20 Practical barrel. I also put together a few rifles for friends using them. They all shoot incredibly well. I have over 6,800 rounds on my first tube and still is able to whack the squirrels pretty darn good. I use 1-12" twist and shoot 32 and 40 V-Max, as well as 39 Blitz Kings. Seems some tubes have difficulty with this twist and the 40-grain bullets. The Harts have had no problem.
I think 90% of the top SR BR shooters use Kreiger and I think the other was Bartlein?

Surprised to see so many. Pacnor & Lilja were on my Radar. I have done a 20 Vartarg drop in barrel from Pacnor & 2 6mm ARC barrels & have been very satisfied w Pacnor.

Ive had good 20 Caliber Barrels from several manufacturers!

Hart
Lilja
Rock Creek
Douglas
Krieger
Pac-Nor
X-caliber when they first started!
Wilson

Dan Mullers 4 Groove Barrels are Top Notch!

I went with a pac nor barrel as they were one of only people that worked on czs that I could find. They were awesome to work with and barrel break in showed great promise

The Lilja 11’s have been great. Have two and they shoot 32’s and 40’s exceptionally well.

I have all Krieger, Bartlein and Brux barrels on my 6mms, mostly Krieger. I do believe a few other manufacturers make as good (if not better) smaller caliber (.20 and under) tubes - Hart and Lilja being two.

I have done 204's with Cooper {wilson}, Lilja, and Pacnor all have been good. all were 1 in 12 and al the new ones were 1 in 11. All I shoot is 32's. Haven't shot out a 20 VarTarg yet but working on it.

Thank you for all the replies. Sounds like the majority consensus is pacnor and hart are very popular overall.

UrbanRifleman Wilson 10 twist. This is a Savage large shank.

Those are 20 cal holes. Those are tiny groups.
