I finally had time to get my new HV kreiger barrel screwed on, Tim Claunch did the chamber.

I tried some varget powder for the first time in it.

RL 15 is my “ my go to load”, and 8208 isn’t bad either… next powder to try will be my H4895…
My other barrel still shoots!!! I have 757 rds on it..
I have a 1.250” straight ready to break in as well.

RL15 works really well in mine also, ive always thought about H4895 just havent got around to it yet.

That sounds like a nice round. I shot a 20 BR with 55 gr Bergers one summer on Groundhogs and coyotes. Was a great long range performer. What twist barrel did you use??

My first was a Pacnor Super match.. not impressed w/ them…

3750fps is a good node in mine, and from what I hear in alot of others

3650-3790 FPS.. depending on powder..
Since there isn’t any load data out there, you can expect Dasher speeds, w/ 1-1/2 gr more than a standard 20 BR load..

Correct !! Although 3800 isn’t bad either…

A buddy is shooting a similar chambering with the 55 grain Bergers. Amazing ballistics and very moderate muzzle flip. Almost like cheating.
