20BR Questions

Ok so this is the deal, I have a barrel chambered in 204 ruger and was wondering if it could be rechambered in 20BR. Would this give any big advantages? Just curious to see what is capable of doing. Thanks for any info.

I have more then one of each, 204Ruger and 20BR. Tell us what kind of rifle, barrel, single shot or repeater, what bullets do you want to shoot, what are you going to use if for, etc. Then I can tell you advantages and unfortunately disadvantages. I like both cartridges, in fact they are my favorites for some shooting other purposed not. Rodbolt

I have a Savage 12FV with the factory 204ruger 1 in 12' twist it is built on the single shot action. Basically it would be a range/varmint gun. I have a 6br barrel 1 in 12' twist I was going to put on it but have another action sitting in my safe it is going to go on. I also have the proper bolt face for the BR cartridge.
