208 amax 300 wsm whitetail test!

Worked up a load with 208 amax in 300 wsm and I am testing it today on doe. I have taken 2 so far and neither took a step. One at 100 yds and one at 400yds. We will see if more come out and I will post results. Big exits on both.

10x action (like stiller). Long action. 27" Brux 10 twist barrel, gunsmith made the brake. Bell n Carlson Alaskan stock, kwik klip bottom metal, cg Jackson trigger, Nightforce ATACR scope. Make that 3 does.

Large exit holes on all of the deer. I had one that ran about 30yds but there was a river of blood right to her. Had a carbon ring really bad after using this powder. I think I will switch back to h4831sc. Ring got so bad that it was grabbing the bullet when I tried to chamber a round. Never had one this bad before. I thought something was in the chamber so I packed up and went home. Took 2 hours to get the ring out.
