I just got done measuring 4 different rugers chambers. With a 32gr vmax they all measure 2.443-2.447 oal length. I wonder why they have such a long throat. Anyone have a good answer for this?

Thanks Dusty, That's the only thing that makes sense to me.
I have noticed that the hornady factory 32gr ammo is no where close to 4225fps that hornady claims.

Its also safer for the non cleaners when they get carbon built up
