204 ruger and 30gr Berger load.

I fount 2 boxes 30gr Berger hp no longer made. Has anyone shot them? I know they will work on Bobcats and crows. How do ya think they would work on coyotes? Any load help? I have a Berger load data somewhere. Thanks

WHEN I SHOT THEM IN MY 204 MY LOAD WAS 29GRS OF VARGET FIRED BY A 450M PRIMER AND THEY WERE BAD ON CROWS AND GROUNDHOGS NEVER SHOT COYOTES WITH THEM BUT THE 35GR BERGERS WILL PUT THE SONGDOG IN HIS RESTING PLACE FOREVERY FORSURE

I have not tried the 30gr. Just the 35gr bergers. H4895 with 28gr. Try ur own charge weight. I will try it out on coyotes this next winter. Got a fox last year and he just droped at 200 yards. Works well on prerrie dogs i know that.

I am too using 28 gr H4895 with a 35gr Berger. That load shoots a very small group in my gun. But on the 30gr the max is 28.5 H4895 by Berger book data. I shot a coon the other morning by chicken pen. It made a small hole going it. Must have hit the back bone. It made a big hole coming out. That was with a 35gr Berger.
