.204 Bullets will be in short supply

I was talking to my smith last night and he said he has it on excellent authority that a major bullet mfr will not be doing 20 cal till at least Summer if then. Glad l have a pile of sub 40gr pills.
I see where some major catalogue sellers are listing 39gr at $40+ but have none. Word to the wise - get'em while you can.

And Nosler has no confirmed date as to when they will have the 6mm/.243, 55 gr BT back in production for my little Sako woodchuck decimator.

Yes but Sierra hasn't had much of anything getting to stores(at least in my area) mostly Hornady. It's a shame I have wanted to try the 36 gr 20 cal bullets in my 20p.

Get what, haven't seen any of those for sale in a couple years now

Other than 224 and 308 caliber, you can say the same thing about most any rifle bullet. Obviously more popular(higher volume sellers) are run more frequently or their runs are longer.

This is the obvious answer. Why would any manufacturer dedicate man power and machine run time to a product that is only a small portion of their sales product. You can bet that there are a lot more folks clamoring for 22 caliber bullets then there are for 20 caliber.

The next time you are at a range just take a look at how many 5.56 / 223 rounds are being fired, then look to see how many 20 caliber rounds are being fired.

Well Boyz, the info was from Sierra. Hvy 224 cal and 30.
If I had any doubt, it would not have been posted.
It's funny the leaps taken in reasonable thought, arriving at a conclusion, not knowing me or having even spoken w me.

Sherm, Amigo, you have spoken w my source, who spoke w a Sierra tech. Is your invite to point me toward some squeaks still good when l get out that way?

Fellas, believe watcha want.

Now all y'All have a nice warm weekend. Spring/shooting weather is trying to get here. :)

I was pretty sure who you were referring to as your source and sure not disputing the info.
Guess I'm just frustrated with all this" better hurry up" and get whatever powder, primer, bullet whatever, people think there helping BUT after 2+ years has it really helped? In your original post you mentioned 20 now its Hvy 22 and 30
As far as sagerats go not really hard to find them just stop and ask the farmers ive never been turned down

Odd. In a checking stock at 4 sites, Sierra 69 gr's in stock at Natchez, Midsouth and Optics Planet.
