You are right. Maybe no Indoor ranges out west?

None west of Texas shooting any sanctioned RFBR matches that I know of. There's only 3 indoor clubs shooting ABRA and they're all East of the Mississippi River. The first ABRA indoor range west of the Mississippi is being built here in N. TX at the moment

FWIW, there's no outdoor ABRA matches west of Texas either. Hopefully it'll pick up a little more in the future. I'm not an ABRA shooter at this point but I'm sure I'll try it now that there'll be a club shooting it near me.

Once they find out it's not as hard as ARA they will be all over the place.

What are the challenges indoors? People shoot better scores?
Pretty much everyone shoots better scores compared to their outdoor scores but it's not as easy as you might think or everyone would be shooting perfect targets. All I can say is, if you ever get the opportunity, give it a try and see for yourself. I used to think it would be easy until I tried it

The above is correct. There are conditions indoors, not like outdoor conditions, but conditions none the less. There are also many etiquette issues that inexperienced indoor shooters will make. Shooting at the same time your neighbor does (either side), rustling around on your bench, half standing up to twist your tuner, etc. If someone has not shot an indoor range, be aware, the benches are very close to each other. Movement that may not disturb a shot from a neighbor outdoors may affect that shot indoors a lot.

As Pat said above, you really have to do it before you start to understand it.

Any idea where the closest indoor range for 50 yard .22LR rifle is available for someone
living in Washington State?
