Desert Sportsman’s Rifle and Pistol Club in Las Vegas is holding the Nevada Mid-Range State Championship which includes F-class (F-TR and Open), Sling class (Match and Service) and a vintage sniper category, 3x600. This is a CMP sanctioned match. Match date is 10/05/24. We are holding a service rifle EIC match the next day on 10/06/24.

Date of Match: Saturday October 5th for Nevada Mid-Range State Championship.
Sunday October 6th, 2024 will be a service Rifle EIC match.
Entries: Sign up starts at 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM with squadding at 8:30 AM, match start time will be at 9:00.
Location: Desert Sportsmans Rifle and Pistol Club, 12201 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89135. Range 8.
Rules: Current CMP Rules for Long Range and Mid-Range matches.

F-Class F-TR (Rule 4.1.7) which will include AR-Tactical (Rule 4.1.9)
F-Class Open (Rule 4.1.6),
Match Rifle (Rule 4.1.5) Iron and Optic in same category
Service Rifle (4.1.1, 4.1.3, 4.1.4)
Vintage Sniper. Rifles that comply with CMP vintage Sniper Rules. (Rule 6.2.1) sand bags will not be provided, need to bring your own.
Course of Fire:
SATURDAY:
MATCH 1: Slow Fire Prone 600 yards
Unlimited sighters, 20 record shots in a block time of 25 minutes
MATCH 2 & 3: Slow Fire Prone 600 yards, Two sighters, 20 record shots in a block time of 20 minutes.
Match Entry Fee:
Saturday Mid-Range State Championship $40 for adults, $20 for Juniors
Sunday’s EIC $25 for Adult, $15 for Junior
There is a $10 gate fee for non-DSRPC members.
Awards: A plaque will be awarded to the top competitor in each category. There needs to be at least 4 competitors entered into the category in order for to qualify.
General: ShotMarker Electronic Target System will be used. Competitors should bring an electronic device (tablet or phone) with sufficient power to last the whole day. No tablets will be supplied. In the event of a catastrophic failure of the electronic scoring system or excessively high winds the Match Director will reserve the right to delay the match or switch to manual targets. All competitors will be required to perform pit duties if such a case arises.
