2024 Illinois F Class State Championship

The 2024 ISRA Illinois State F-Class Championship will be held at the Aurora Sportsmans Club on September 7 and 8. The good folks at Forster have graciously agreed to be named sponsors of the event and will again host a luncheon for competitors at the awards ceremony. Our prize table is shaping up to be even better than last year, and all prizes will be awarded by drawing. Medals will be awarded for first through third in class (depending on the number of competitors) and trophies will be presented to category winners in addition to the Bushelle Trophy to the State Champion.
Note that the State champion does not have to be a resident of Illinois, but must be a member of the ISRA. I encourage you to register soon since there has been a lot of interest. Instructions to register are contained in the program (see link below). If you have questions please use the contact info in the program.
ASC is a great shooting venue and the camaraderie is exceptional. Come out and join us for a great time and possibly set a new National Record again this year.

Question For the Competitors:
Since many of you compete in many F Class State Championships across the USA:
Do those states have:
State Trophy which the State Associations keep on display with placard on the Trophy for each year's MW.
1: State Trophy with name engraved for MW regardless of FO or FTR. Individual personal plague for High FO, High FTR, etc
2: State Trophy with name engraved for High FO and separate State Trophy with name engraved for High FTR. Individual personal plague for High FO, High FTR,etc
Thanks for your input. We appreciate your feedback and comments.
Would you drive longer distance to compete or add an extra match to your schedule for a F Class State Championship match if they offered 2 State Association Trophies FO and FTR?

DRRC in Oregon has Many Trophies for many Classes of High Power Shooting.
These are for State Matches, winners get their names on then for the year they won .
There are many other States and Ranges that also follow this system.
Hope this is some help?

Some places have a continuous trophy that names get added to each year. Others have a new trophy or plaque for the winner to keep each year. Some places the state champion must be a state resident. Others it’s available to any participant. So it can vary from each state.

Still room to jump in and join the fun
