2024 Freedom Benchrest Year End Awards 600 and 1000 Yards
The 2024 Freedom Benchrest season has come to a end and we must say its been a GOOD year we had some growing pains and overcome most of them . It has been a Blast meeting everyone this year and we can not wait until we see you all again in 2025 as for the 2024 season and Regular Season Champions each of you have proved you are the best in long range benchrest .
In 1000 Yard we would Like to Congratulate David Kieffer On winning the 2024 Regular season Championship as well as the 2024 1000 Yard Freedom Benchrest 2024 Champion. Dave is one of the nicest guys in this sport and he definitely earned every point shooting against the Williamsport guys and gals is always tough.
Congratulations also goes to Gabe Romana on winning the rookie and Jr shooter 2024 Regular season as well as the 2024 1000 yard Championship.

The 2024 Female Season Champion is Mary Scangarella
Congratulations Ladies you both shot outstanding.
In Tactical Class 1000 Yards 2024 Freedom Benchrest regular season Champion and Season Champion goes to Scott Spelbring Congratulations Scott on a Great Year.
In the 600 yards Mr. Curt Knitt is your 2024 regular season Champion as well as the 2024 Season Champion.
Emily Loudin is the 2024 Regular season Female , Rookie and JR Champion she is also the Junior and Rookie Champion in the 2024 Season
Mary Scangarella is the 2024 600 Yard Freedom Benchrest Season Female Champion Congratulations Mary
In Tactical Class we had 11 new records set this year
Jeff Mullennex set a new 1000 yard group and score single target record with a 2.108 /50
Scott Spelbring set a 12 target score agg 48.583, 20 target group and score 1000 yards 47.05/ 6.8139
Mike The Squirrel Thompson set 600 yard tactical records in single target group and score .466/50
Dan Hullinger set a 4 target record197/2.068 that was later broke by Curt Knitt with a 199/1.773
In the Heavy Gun 1000 Yard it was
Jason Chancey with a 5 shot heavy gun record in Score of a 50 2x /1.797
Alan Carmichael Set the new Heavy Gun 5 shot Group with a 1.642 /45
Charles Napikoski set the new 10 shot heavy Gun Group and score recorded with a 2.651/100-9x
We also want to Congratulate all the season Champions at UBR it's been a pleasure partnering with this group in short range score .
As we close out 2024 and 2025 season is already starting up we don’t have much time to look back but I can say that its been a really good 1st Year at Freedom Benchrest will we do some things different in 2025 we sure will . We have been working really hard behind the scenes to correct and fix issues that we came across and those things are minimum but something that is not Minimum is the Freedom Benchrest Members you men and Women have stepped up and made this year a great success you have all offered to do anything you can to help this program and it shows for that the entire staff at Freedom Says THANK YOU!!!!!
If you have not received your 2024 Season awards you will be receiving them in the next couple of weeks
Be watching the web page ,Facebook and forums for some more exciting news that is coming down the pipes so to speak this is going to be a benefit to our shooters and the Great Companies that support us .
We are adding some new members to the Freedom staff as well as we are in talks with 4 more ranges that are looking into holding Freedom Matches in the future that we will be announcing in the near future as we roll out the 2025 plan .
We will also be announcing Sponsorship opportunities for 2025 season in the near future .Again Thank You to everyone that has made Freedom Benchrest the fastest growing and largest Long Range Benchrest Organization in the Country we could not have done this with out the support of our nearly 600 members and Ranges .
