The Louisville Rifle and Revolver Club will once again host the Bluegrass Prone and F-Class Regional Championship on May 18-19, 2024 with practice on Friday afternoon, May 17th.
NRA Bluegrass Prone & F-Class Regional Championship 2024
Dates: Friday, May 17 (Practice, 1:00 pm), Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2024, 8:30 am each day.
Location: Louisville Rifle and Revolver Club, 10000 Barricks Road, Louisville, KY 40229.
Eligibility: Open to all competitive shooters, up to 50 competitors.
Entry Fees: NRA Registration $10, Individual Matches $15/Match, One Day Package $40, Two Day Package $60.
Make out checks to Louisville Rifle and Revolver Club. Advanced entry fees refunded to anyone unable to attend.
Registration: Advance entries are encouraged, but entries will be accepted until the first match starts each day.

Rules: Current NRA Smallbore Rifle Rules will apply. Rule 3.21 for (ECI) Empty Chamber Indicators will be used. Hearing protection is required on the firing line and eye protection is strongly recommended.
Rifle: Rule 3.2 applies for eligible rifles. Ammunition: Rule 3.17 applies for eligible ammunition.
F-Class Rules: Current NRA F-Class Smallbore Rifle Rules, Rule 23, will apply in all respects for F-Class shooters. The A-50 target will be used at 50 meters during the 50-yard matches and the A-33 target will be used at 100 yards.
Targets: The club supplies official NRA targets (A-23, A-25, A-26) and backers. Shooters hang their targets and backers with their own clips. All targets will be displayed after scoring. A $1.00 fee is assessed for each challenge.
Squadding: All competitors will be squadded upon registration at the club office. If applicable, NRA numbers and classification cards must be presented during registration. Failure to be squadded or be at the proper firing point when a relay is called to the line may result in losing the right to compete in the that match.
Match Schedule: 20 minutes will be allowed for each stage with 20-minute breaks between matches.

Classifications and Categories: The NRA classification system will be used. Shooters without a classification will fire in the Master Class. Rule 19.2 (Temporary Classification) or Rule 19.6 (Assigned Classification) may be used. Separate Class awards will be given in each of three categories: Service, Civilian, and Junior. Members of the Armed Forces and Reserves will comprise the Service category (Rules 2.5, 2.6, 2.7) while all others are either Civilians (Rule 2.2) or Juniors (Rule 2.3). Classes and categories may be combined (Rule 19.8).
Awards: Each competitor will receive an NRA Regional Pin. The Regional Champion will receive an NRA Gold Medallion, 2nd Place an NRA Silver Medallion (15 competitors required), and 3rd Place an NRA Bronze Medallion (25 competitors required). LRRC awards will be cash or NRA award points. At least 5 entries are required to form a class or category, second place awards require 8 or more entries, and third place awards require at least 13 entries. A class or category with less than five entries will be combined with another class for category.
Range and Accommodations: The range has 50 paved and covered firing points with plenty of room for camping. There are limited electric hook ups and restrooms are located in the club building. Anyone wishing to bunk in the club building may do so. Soft drinks and coffee will be available in the club building. However, club rules prohibit all alcoholic beverages on club property. There are many restaurants near the range and several motels located a few miles south of the range at Brooks at Exit-121 on I-65.
