Rules: Current NRA High Power Rifle Rules
Open To: ANYONE, familiar with high power rifle rules and match procedures.
Individual Entries: Advanced Entries are NOT required. Individual entries are made by sending a note indicating what you want to enter only to help us indicate how many shooters we have for the food order. The fee itself will be paid at the Club house/ Pro shop the morning of the shoot.

Challenge Fee: (Rule 16.11) $2.00 per challenge
Squadding: All matches will be squadded by Rule 11.6.7(a). The Range Statistical Office will issue Squadding tickets/score cards for the individual matches. scorecards will be issued on the range. NRA classification cards must be exhibited before scorecards will be issued. A competitor who fails to pick up score cards or to report to his point when his relay is called to shoot, score, or for pit duties may lose their right to compete in that event.
Categories: The Mid-Range State Championship will be split into three categories: Conventional Prone, F-Class, and F-Class T/R Rifle. A competitor may enter ONLY ONE CATEGORY. If there are less than FIVE F-Class or F-Class T/R entries, these two categories will be combined. Conventional will NOT be combined with the F-Classes
NOTE: Conventional Prone will be split into ANY Rifle, Service Rifle, Palma Rifle and ANY Rifle OPTIC if there are 5 or more shooters to create its own class. If not, they will be combined into ANY Rifle.
Classification: The NRA Classification System will be used for all matches. Unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class. Assigned (rule 19.6) or Temporary (rule 19.2) Classification may be used in making entry in an NRA Regional.
Rifle Allowed: Any Rifle/ Match Rifle, Service Rifle, Palma Rifle, The F-Class Rifle, or the F-Class T/R Rifle
Targets: “MR-1” for 600 yards for conventional. F-Class & T/R: The “MR-1FC” for 600 yards
ELECTRONIC SCORING (Shot Marker) will be used for scoring
Empty Chamber Indicators: NRA High Power Rifle Rule 3.21 requires the mandatory use of Open Bolt Indicators for all sanctioned tournaments. They will be available at the Range Statistical Office or from the Range Officer for $2.00.
Sighting Shots: Sighting shots (rule 9.2) which are allowed in the match conditions must be taken and recorded. Sighting shots may be taken in any position described in rule 5 of the High Power Rifle rulebook, except rule 9.13.
Stage and Match Firing order: Each Stage will be fired by all competitors, then the next stage will start. Competitors will rotate; Firing, Scoring and stand bye.

Match 1: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record Slow Fire Prone at 600 Yards with Any Sights, 30-minute total time limit. Rule 5.6
Match 2: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record Slow Fire Prone at 600 Yards with Any Sights, 30-minute total time limit. Rule 5.6
Match 3: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record Slow Fire Prone at 600 Yards with Any Sights, 30-minute total time limit. Rule 5.6
Match # 4: Aggerate score of Match #1, #3 & #4

Match 5: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record Slow Fire Prone at 600Yards with Metallic Sights. (F-Class, Any Sights). 30 minute total time limit. Rule 5.6
Match 6: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record Slow Fire Prone at 600 Yards with Metallic Sights. (F-Class, Any Sights). 30 minute total time limit. Rule 5.6
Match 7: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record Slow Fire Prone at 600 Yards with Metallic Sights. (F-Class, Any Sights). 30 minute total time limit. Rule 5.6

Classes and Award Disposition: Awards will be provided in each category in each of the five classes providing 5 or more enter in a class. (see above for combining categories). If there are fewer than 5 entries in a class, there will be NO AWARDS provided in that class and all the competitors in that class will be combined with the next higher class until there are a minimum of 5 competitors in a class. If fewer than 5 High Masters enter, they will shoot for Match Winner awards and WILL NOT be combined with the Master class. This plan for combining classes will apply to ALL matches.
There must be 5 or more entries in a class for one award, 10 or more for two awards, 15 or more for three awards, and 20 or more for four awards.
Special awards categories in the Regional Aggregate will be: None this year do to the late Change of location of the match.
Championships Awards for all Categories (Match 8):
WINNER: $60.00 (5 or more competitors)
2nd PLACE: $30,00 (10 or more competitors)
3rd PLACE: $15 (15 or more competitors)
CLASS AWARDS: CASH to the First in each Class (HM, MA, EX, SS, MK) if 5 enter in a Class, Furnished by the sponsor
SPECIAL AWARD & OTHER CLASS AWARDS: CASH furnished by the sponsor
Fired Matches Awards (Matches 1 ,2,3,5,6,7): CASH, furnished by the sponsor
Remarks: Lunch will not be available at the range and time will not be allowed to go to town to eat. Camping will be allowed on the range. Camping is allowed Friday through Sunday. Notice must be given to the Match Director, or the club house if camping is to be approved.
