ATTENTION ALL 1000 YARD BENCHREST SHOOTERS!
As the club's Vice President I‘d like to ask you to consider participating in this year’s July 9 and 10 World Open competition. If you’ve never been to our club these two days are worth the trip and shooting experience. The two day, four target event can accommodate up to 144 shooters to compete in the heavy and light gun classes. That's a maximum of 288 guns! (144 in each class). We have a firing line and overhead cover that has 15 benches and we my be able to expand the target line to accommodate more shooters! We also have covered cleaning areas, camping sites, showers, and food readily available.
At the conclusion of the competition the top shooters in various classes are awarded merchandise prizes. This event has always proven to be a success due to the generous donations from the firearms/shooting industry. The club also purchases many items for awards table. During the match there will be other items raffled off to benefit the Club. Therefore, I am asking all 1000 yard competitive shooters to consider making the trek to Williamsport, PA to compete.
Additionally, if you are a business in the industry that wishes to donate and has not been contacted by me please reach out to to get your company involved.
Again, I would like to invite all 1000 yard shooters to attend and compete in this year's World Open. Come out and see for yourself what our "unique" wind is all about.
So please join us in some way to support the competitors of the 2022 Original PA 1000 Yard Benchrest Club's World Open. In my opinion this match is probably the best 1000 yard rifle competition held on one of the worlds' most challenging ranges.
If you have any questions regarding the club or the World Open, please do not hesitate to contact me, Eric Wolfgang, or Ryan Miller.
Detailed contact information is available at www.pa1000yard.com under the CONTACT US tab.

I hope to see you at the World Open this July.
All the best,
