We had to help him see targets that far, but once he got them in the scope he hit the middle.
Even a blind nut can get found by a squirrel once in a while.
I definitely appreciated the help with sight-in from you and Tommy. It's been a long time since I shot at 1000 yd, and the steel targets they have at Vapor Trail are ideal for that purpose. The real key is that in order to sight in at 1000 yd, you need to be pointing the gun at the steel targets at the 1000 yd berm. Using the 600 yd steel targets for that purpose is somewhat less helpful. LOL
I really enjoyed participating in this match a lot and am looking forward to shooting at Vapor Trail again. It's a great facility and a great bunch of folks to shoot with.
