The 2021 NRA Georgia State Smallbore Championship 3200 – Outdoor Conventional Prone and F-Class Smallbore, will be held September 25-26 at River Bend Gun Club in Dawsonville, Georgia. The range will be open for practice on Friday the 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The match program is attached.
The match fee for shooting both days is $40, which includes all sanctioning fees.
As stated in the program, Georgia residents must be a member of the Georgia Sport Shooting Association (GSSA) and non-residents must be a member of the NRA-affiliated state association of their respective state of residence. Membership in the NRA is not required. If not a member of GSSA, junior competitors may be members of the NRA or a member of an NRA-affiliated club. Georgia competitors may join or renew GSSA membership online at https://www.georgiasportshootingassociation.com/join-us/.
Because this is an NRA-registered match, all NRA rules will be in effect, including the single-load rule. Competitors may feed ammunition from a magazine provided that the magazine never contains more than one round at any given time. In the interest of safety, competitors using a magazine that is capable of holding more than one round will be required to remove the magazine upon or before the ceasefire command. Because of the difficulty in verifying loaded status, tubular magazines will not be permitted.
Please note: All persons at the range – whether shooting or not shooting – will be required to sign a liability release in favor of River Bend Gun Club, Inc. Persons who are not members of River Bend Gun Club will not be allowed access to any other range at the club other than the Rimfire Rifle Range.
Camping at the range will not be permitted but there are lodging accommodations within a short drive.
My contact information is on the first page of the match program. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions. For information about the venue, please see https://www.rbgc.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=265856&module_id=471044.
