2020 Four States Two-Man Team Championship, June 13-14

Good time
What a great weekend! Well except for the results Mikey and I put up, but we limped through to the finish line. Skip awesome job once again. This ones on our list of annual road trips. I can't think of a better group of guys to spend a weekend cheating death and avoiding COVID-19:). I'll give an ode to the old Meatloaf song "Two out of Three ain't bad" and with a second ode to the lyrics of said song. All hope was lost with me and Mikey around Memphis when we discovered Meatloaf was right, "There ain't no coupe de ville hiding at the bottom of a Crackerjack box"o_O

Thanks to The Panola gun club... Skip and Greg and his crew that put on another epic match! It's well worth the trip to see and have a hell of a time with class act people!

Congrats to the winners... You definitely earned it against some of the best shooters in the country!

As far as the results for myself... That's what in hell I get for bringing a Butter Knife... To a gun fight... You get your ass whipped!

Still had one hell of time with great friends!

Another well run match. This is differently one of the “Must Make” matches.
The range is tricky enough that no one cleaned all the targets.
The entry fees go to help buy the land the range is on.
It was good to see old friends and make new ones.
Matt and I just need to get our act together sooner.
I am hoping that someone picks up the baton and keeps this match going.

It's like winning the lottery when I get squadded with you Mr. King! Was really great seeing you again this weekend!

Thanks,
Mike Plunkett

Results with photos of the winners are posted at www.epcgc.com. If you'd like your "JPG" file, send me a PM.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who competed in and assisted with the 3rd Annual Team Championships. The participation, even with short notice, drew top shooters from all over the 4 states, and beyond, region. The winners were determined by Xs and very few dropped points - SUPERB shooting everyone. We look forward to seeing you next year. In the meantime, be safe and keep 'em in the center.

The Panola County Gun Club Board and membership are very grateful to the shooting community's willingness to help the Club keep this beautiful range open for competition. Additionally, the Club wants to recognize Skip Barkley for organizing and running the event and the members who worked behind the scenes in support of Skip and this Championship event.

Sincerely,
Yvonne Roberts
PCGC Secretary

Thanks to you Yvonne. For those unaware she is one of the unsung hero's that can be seen helping run the pits at an F-class national. Yvonne does not shoot F-class but shoots HP prone. She is willing to do the grunt work for another discipline for them to be able to have a National Championship. Hats off to you and those like you!
