I’m in the process of planning my 2019 varmint hunting trip. I usually try to combine some coyote calling with a couple days of prairie dog shooting. I had great fun in New Mexico and Colorado the last couple of years.
My wife usually sets home during my trips out west but this year she is wanting to do some sight seeing in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. If I do this trip with the wife, we will probably bring the travel trailer and set up a base somewhere around Flagstaff. We would rent her a car to use on the days I’m out hunting and possibly even fly her Mom out to sight see with her.
I was hoping that someone might have advice about shooting opportunities in the area. I would be open to using an outfitter or freelance opportunities.
Sage Rat shooting in Oregon is also high on my list. I would book this through an outfitter and fly out with a couple of guns.
I’ve also though about visiting Montana although I have not researched shooting opportunities there at all.
