Stay frosty, my friend.
The results of the GBA Australian 1000 and 600 Yd Nationals Matches are posted on the GBA web site, check them out. Those guys had a rough year, weather, drought, fire, but still able to do some shooting. Our prayers are with them... Hang in there Mates...

The regular GBA 1000 and 600 Yd. Match results are posted on the Match results page.

Thanks G
We have several customers over they have definitely had some problems my hat's off to those folks.

Mike and Stan

2019 was definitely a year to forget overall for the narromine dubbo rifle club planned match schedules.

as you would be aware, the drought and dust storms caused major problems in central nsw.

hopefully the present predictions, indicating a period of showers and light rain are correct and are a sign of future rain.

however, despite the weather, 2019 was full of positives for Australian LRBR.

the first Australian GBA 600/1000yd championships saw competitors travel from many parts of the country.

Townsville and Cairns Rifle clubs are now members of the GBA with other clubs also showing interest.

some clubs, who are unable to shoot 1000yds have requested 600yd BR targets to trial and have shown positive interest in the GBA concept.

Thanks to Trevor Armstrong and his Cairns club mates and the NRAA executive, the previous embarrassing Australian 1000yd BR rules have been amended and corrected to incorporate and recognise GBA rules for our 600/1000 BR.

and of equal importance, we are all appreciative of the wonderful support and recognition which the GBA Executive and all members and clubs have provided for International Australian LRBR.

personally I have appreciated the advice and direction from both of you, as well as jeff green, mike wallace and all of the GBA committee.

the website is credit to Mike and I am sure that Stan would be pleased to know that the interest and attraction associated with the Douglas barrel prizes has been phenomenal.

cheers

although the rainfall over the last 2 days, is not sufficient to end the drought, it hopefully will give some dust storm relief and allow us to now plan and commence the 2020 narromine dubbo rifle club match schedule.

the paddock in the photo has not looked like this for around 3 years.

cheers
