2018 UBR matches at Meeker, Ohio

We are looking forward to putting on 2 matches in 2018. May 26th and July 28th. We plan to contest at 100 & 200 yard distances, and all classes at our first match. We have 10 very nice covered benches and we look forward to bring this fun and shooter friendly discipline to central Ohio.

Here's the plan for the match this coming Saturday the 26th:

7:30-9:00 am Registration and breakfast at the clubhouse. After that is completed we'll go back to the range, and have a shooter's meeting.
'We'll shoot the 200yd first
Break for lunch
Then finish with the 100yd. WD

We had our first match as planned on 5/26. We had 3 new to competition shooters, and 4 that had never shot UBR format before. They did well, and we were glad to have them there. Conditions were quite warm for this time of year and the winds were relatively light and variable. We're already looking forward to our July match. See the UBR website at www.ultimatebenchrest.com

He actually put on several clinics there. Shooting at 200yds, had another string going at 100yds, then showed us all up at eating rhubarb cobbler. WD

I ran the relay with rhubarb cobbler!!

They did a great job with their first UBR match. Averaged 15 minutes a relay even with a couple hiccups

Very good match! Hope some of the east/central Ohio shooters start coming to enjoy these. Sure enjoyed the match and the food!
