Congratulations to all of the shooters and winners during the 2016 Williamsport World Open. It was very windy, especially for Williamsport!
Lots of great prizes were given out and certainly well earned.
Jay Burger took the 2 gun overall champ. Great job!

Good to see a lot of friends from all over the country and hope to see everyone again next year.

I would like to thank all of folks who made the World Open run so smoothly from the club president to the pit crew, they did an outstanding job. Congratulations to Jay Burger for his outstanding performance in conditions that made us mere mortals just shake our heads. Also congrats to my life long friend and shooting mentor Roger Gower for his performance with his dasher in conditions that were certainly made for the Big Boomers. I think a great time was had by all, I know I'll keep doing this till I can get it close to being right.

The weekend was a blast. The weather held for the most part and the wind was really in attendance. It was my 1st time there and I will surely be going back. Thanks Joe S. for taking the time to get this 1000yd new guy on target Fri. I was able to win my Sat. HG relay which put my head in the clouds until Sun. morning.....Then it all came crashing back down to earth..LOL
The match went off like a well oiled ( and fed ) machine..........Thanks Guys.

To All,

What a Great weekend! It was a long ride from Ga. but yet another well run match! Probably the toughest match since the 2006 Nationals at Hawks Ridge as far as the conditions. Congratulations to All the winners, especially Jay, my hats off to you Sir. It's always good to see my Friends at the World Open and look forward to seeing y'all at the IBS Nationals in September where we will continue the party.
On another note, PLEASE keep Matt Kline and his wife in your Prayers as they continue to fight the health issues.
