2014 Florida Championship Matches

Here is this year's match line up:

November 8,9 are the FSSA Mid-Range Prone Championships. This is a Registered match so we will fire at 300, 500 and 600 yards on both days.

November 15,16 are the FSSA F-Class Championships. These also are fired at 300, 500 and 600 yards.

December 5, 6 and 7 are the FSSA Across the Course Championships.
Friday Dec 5 is our version of the Governor's Match, which due to popular demand for more shooting has been expanded to the 50 shot format with sighters.
December 6 is the Championship match, which is a Registered match in the regional format.
December 7 is an EIC match.

All shooting is hosted by the Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club in Palm Bay FL.

Well I screwed up and missed this match.Hand and elbow finally good enough o shoot, have to go back to Dr. on the 13th for last check up but it seems gtg. I dummied out on the registration date and let it sneak up on me and it's to late.

Well, the Prone Matches are in the books now. Johnny Faustino took the top score with a 600-36 shooting a Tubb with irons in 6BR. Brian McElhaney took the Service Rifle honors with a 580-18x.

Sunday was rained out, so these are one day scores.

I don't have the official results yet, they will be posted on the web site when available.

On to F-Class and then XTC...

Yes indeed, and congratulations Frank. I did not know you have won the any-any three years in a row, that's awesome.

Hopefully I will have my prone gun ready to go early next year and see you at the range.

The whole series of matches has wrapped up now. It was a good run with only two days rained out. Hope to see you all next year!
