PS I checked NRA Classifications today to complete registration.
The last recorded date was from 2011 and showing me as Expert. Some may
disagree with that,so how does one go about getting a verified current classification?

Failing a response from NRA, I believe you may request higher category placement, but not lower. When you send your registration, indicate High Master. There should be no disagreements about that.

Hi Steve
Am looking forward to shooting BA, whatever the class.
Enjoyed the Whiddington Center matches (Still getting slag dust out the gear)and have heard great things about Ben Avery.
Figuring a five day drive for me, but I sure get to see some interesting country on the way.
Am hoping a few of Y'all can make it up here to Ontario,Can sometime ,maybe even this summer for our Nationals in August.
We always keep the lights on!

Gord, your sources are correct. Ben Avery is (IMHO) the finest, 1000 yard public facility in the United States. There are some excellent ranges on military bases, but no other public range equals what they offer. You'll have a great time. I shoot there three or four times per year and a good time is had by (almost) all. It will likely be warm in early November, probably low eighties. Keep records of your summer loads, you'll need them.
